Deflection
There are almost 200 countries in the World - and nearly all of them consider themselves as democra7c. Obviously most of them do not even fill the basics of a democra7c state (according to an UN report). For me it is a kind of a proof that the term "democracy" is more a marke7ng mask of a poli7cians than an actual rule of law condi7on of a country.
This leads me to a conclusion that the "democracy" is probably one of the most flexible and moldable forms of governing that is strongly associated with a current government of each country.
In my project I'm telling a story of a world that is gradually shiiing from democracy into totalitarianism.
The 7tle "Deflec7on" is a term taken from engineering science and it is a degree to which a structural element is displaced under a load.
